Make is a visual automation platform. You build 'scenarios', workflows drawn on a canvas that move and transform data between apps, using a drag-and-drop editor that shows each step and how data flows.
Make (formerly Integromat) is known for its visual canvas: instead of a linear list of steps, you arrange modules and connectors on a board, with routers for branching, iterators for looping over data, and rich data transformation. This makes complex, branchy automations easier to see and build, and it connects 3,000+ apps.
In August 2025, Make renamed its billing unit from 'operations' to 'credits'. The accounting is essentially the same: one credit per module call, so a five-step scenario spends about five credits per run, and iterators and routers multiply usage. AI features and code steps consume credits differently. This makes Make markedly cheaper than Zapier for equivalent workflows, though credit-hungry designs can still add up.
Free includes 1,000 credits and two active scenarios. Core ($9/month annually) adds unlimited scenarios and the API; Pro ($16/month) adds priority execution; Teams ($29/month) adds team roles; Enterprise is custom.
