Free listings link to your site with rel=nofollow. Paid plans link straight to your site, marked rel="sponsored" because the placement was paid for, as search engines ask. Both send real visitors to your site, and we make no ranking claims.
A member of the SecondWing team researches your product and writes an editorial review that is published on your listing. It goes through SecondWing editorial approval first, and it is clearly distinct from community reviews written by users. We describe what the product does — we do not write to order.
No. Payment activates the commercial service you bought, including priority review. SecondWing still reviews every submission before publishing, and can ask for changes or decline it.
When your product is approved and published. If all 10 Sponsored spots are taken, it starts on the next date one frees up instead. Days are never used up while you wait for review or in the queue.
At most 10 products are sponsored at once. Every page view shows the sponsors with the fewest views that day, and someone who has just seen a sponsor is shown others first, so every sponsor gets an equal share. Sponsored slots are labelled, carry no rank, and never change organic results. Your dashboard shows each promotion's impressions and clicks.
