Riverside is a remote recording and editing platform for podcasts, video shows and webinars. It records every guest on their own device so quality doesn't depend on the internet connection.
Riverside's core idea is local recording: each participant's audio and video are captured on their own device in high quality, then uploaded as separate tracks, so a shaky connection doesn't ruin the recording. Sessions run in the browser, with up to 4K video and 48 kHz audio on paid plans.
After recording, Riverside handles post-production. Transcription is unlimited on paid plans, the text-based editor cuts video by editing words, Magic Audio cleans up sound, and Magic Clips automatically turns long episodes into short social clips. An AI editing agent, show notes, AI B-roll and translation round it out, with some AI features drawing on monthly AI credits.
Higher plans add podcast hosting, live streaming and distribution (Grow), webinars (Webinar), and unlimited studios, API, SSO and compliance (Business). The product rebranded from Riverside.fm to Riverside in 2026 and moved to riverside.com.
