Jasper is an AI content and marketing platform. Originally an AI copywriter (once called Jarvis), it's now a marketing workspace where teams draft, chat and run agents to produce on-brand content at scale, governed by stored brand voice and knowledge.
Jasper has evolved from a general AI writing tool into a marketing-focused platform. The workspace centres on Canvas for drafting, Chat for conversational work, and Agents for repeatable tasks, with Grid for spreadsheet-style batch production and Studio for building custom agents without code. Jasper IQ is the governance layer that stores brand voice, knowledge, audiences, style rules and visual guidelines, and reapplies them automatically, which is where Jasper competes rather than on the underlying models.
Jasper restructured its pricing in early 2025, discontinuing the legacy Creator and Boss Mode plans. The current model has one publicly priced tier, Pro, and a custom-quoted Business plan. Pro includes exactly one seat; adding teammates means moving to a Business quote. Business is a hybrid of a platform fee plus consumption-based credits (for Grid rows, API/MCP calls and advanced agent runs).
Pro is $69 per seat per month, or $59 billed annually. There's no permanent free plan, only a 7-day trial that requires a card.
